It’s a tough time to a PC gamer, with both memory and graphics card prices absolutely soaring. Of course, according to the latest leaks and rumours, this is also causing delays for both the RDNA 5 and RTX 60 next gen GPUs. But the fun isn’t quite over for the current gen either, according to the latest leaks.
According to the Chinese publication Board Channels, we could see another round of price increases for the RTX 50 series as manufacturers are allegedly adjusting their distributor pricing in November.

If these reports are accurate, then we could see some pretty painful price increases for the Colorful RTX 5090 D V2 and RTX 5080. Apparently we can expect the RTX 5090 D V2 to raise by $330 to $495 and the RTX 5080 to rise anywhere from $375 – $420
Further according to the post, we can also expect the GALAX cards to see price increases as well, although we have less information on what kind of price hikes we will see.
But there is good news hopefully on the horizon, as there are signs of the AI bubble popping as we discussed in yesterday’s video. And if the AI bubble truly does end up popping, it could give some real relief to gamers both old and new as the impact of the increased prices effects everyone, even the release date and price of the next gen consoles.
