If you’ve played either Halo 3 or Halo Reach, you will be familiar with the multiplayer mode “infected”, and it looks like it might be getting a revival.
This isn’t confirmed yet, but a recent teaser from 343 Industries has set tongues wagging.
“The playlist team continues to work on future updates, and its quite likely that we’ll be talking more about things like Infection in the coming weeks.”
If you aren’t familiar with Infection, it’s a mode where the players are whittled down by kills from “infected” players, until only one player is left with the honour of “last man standing”. This mode is actually thanks to a custom gametype people made themselves in Halo 2.
