Today we have some leaks for the upcoming Intel Panther Lake SKUs, just a few days before we expect Intel to lift the embargo on the Panther Lake architecture.
While we aren’t expecting Intel to reveal the hardware specs and SKUs for Panther Lake until CES 2026 next year, we do have some interesting leaks of not only the SKU names but also some of the specs. This all comes from Sly on Chiphell, who leaked the image below:
As you can see, if this leak holds true Intel may be switching to “X” branding for chips specifically with a full 12-Xe3 GPU core. Previously some leaks did claim that the SKU names would instead be Ultra X9 or X7 for the 12 Xe3 Core parts, so it remains to be seen which of these is accurate. Personally I’m not keen on either naming scheme, but the X9/X7 SKU name is a tiny bit better – but not by much.
