It’s been a confusing time the last few days, as rumors have been swirling around the RTX 50 SUPER.
First off there were claims from Uniko’s Hardware that the RTX 50 SUPER series had been cancelled due to the shortage of 3MB GDDR7 memory, then following on shortly from that was a tweet from MEGAsizeGPU claiming that it was simply delayed.

Shortly after that was another rebuttal from HKEPC who also stated that Nvidia had simply postponed the RTX 50 SUPER series to Q3 2026. As you can see in the tweet above, the release window for the RTX 50 refresh was allegedly supposed to be Q1 2026.
HKEPC said, “However, NVIDIA revealed to AIC yesterday that it has not canceled the RTX 50 SUPER plan, but has temporarily postponed the release date of RTX 50 SUPER to Q3 2026. “Uniko’s Hardware” is not correct.” (Translated)
You would think that resolves the matter, but the confusion and excitement doesn’t stop there, as Benchlife have also weighed in on the situation saying “Our earlier report mentioned that NVIDIA has not yet given the design information of the GeForce RTX 50 Super series. As of November, no AIC has received the design information. Without any information, whether it is canceled or postponed, it is just nonsense.” (Translated)
So essentially what Benchlife is saying here is that if AIC’s haven’t even received the technical data for the boards – then the RTX 50 SUPER would not have been on Nvidia’s roadmap to “postpone” or “cancel” in the first place. As I mentioned before, it was originally expected for the RTX 50 refresh to launch in Q1 of next year after a reveal at CES 2026. But if Benchlife is corrrect, then there is simply no way this can be true anymore.
It’s entirely possible this was once the plan internally at Nvidia, but it’s tough to say. At this stage we simply do not know what will end up happening with the SUPER series.
