As reported on by WCCFTech, Intel has confirmed several details about their next gen architecture behind Nova Lake as part of their ISA Extensions Reference. We’ve discussed quite a few rumors regarding Nova Lake, so let’s get stuck in.

For Nova Lake, we’re expecting Intel to launch these next gen CPUs in the second half of 2026 for both desktop and mobile. As part of the big info dump linked above, Intel confirmed that Nova Lake will feature Coyote Cove P-Cores and Arctic Wolf E-Cores. Also, Nova Lake’s desktop SKUs are expected to top out at 52 cores at the top end, whereas we can expect a 28 core max for mobile HX chips. And just as a reminder if you don’t recall, this all matches up with our recent leaks for Nova Lake.
