If you’ve been watching our channel for a while, you’ll know that we’ve talked extensively about the Intel ARC B770 AKA “Big Battlemage”. While a B770 ARC GPU has not materalised, it’s been in many leaks and rumours.
From device IDs being spotted to it being discovered in a Linux boot log, the evidence of Big Battlemage existing in some form over at Intel is pretty much confirmed. And now we have yet another sighting of the Intel ARC B770, thanks to a leak from @GOKForFree. As with all leaks and rumours, remember to treat it as such.

With that out of the way, you can see in the screenshot above (which does unfortunately has a lot of info blurred out) we can clearly see “BMG G31” and four GPU variants under that. Only one is an Xe / gaming card, with three SKUs being allocated to Pro variants.
Obviously though, despite B770’s numerous sightings across various leaks and rumours, Intel has made no official comment about an official launch of the high end Battlemage graphics card.
While I would love Big Battlemage to be a thing, I do wonder if it’s too late for it to release – which may be why we’ve had no official comment from Intel on it. Obviously we don’t know when the next gen of Intel ARC – codenamed Celestial – is going to release, but the current rumours point to a 2026-2027 release date.
Based on the previous reports, the B770 is expected in Q4 2025, which would put it between October and December, and given that it’s currently Halloween the clock is definitely running out for this to be true. But we should also remember that previously we all thought Big Battlemage was dead before it started appearing in all these shipping manifests and so on.
Plus, there was a report just last month from Tweak Town which indicated that Intel was “getting closer” to launching the more powerful B770 GPU.
So it is also possible that it will still launch and, you guessed it – only time will tell.
