In an interview, Tony Key, Ubisoft’s VP (Vice President) of sales and marketing confirmed that Rayman Origins won’t see a 3ds release until November, 2012.
“Rayman 3DS is coming out in November,” Mr Key’s said, “It will probably be coinciding with the Wii U version. It’s absolutely going to ship. They already made the game.”
When pressed as to why, he response was “We decided it wasn’t the right window. We want to better align it with the communication around the next Rayman.”
Not exactly forthcoming, and a disappointment to be sure to any 3DS owner who is looking forward to their mobile Rayman fix.
