Battlefield 6’s launch is almost upon yes, and today the developers have shared the full PC specs for this game for both the minimum and recommended specifications.
Before we go into the hardware specs required, one thing that’s interesting is that the dev team (a mix of DICE, Ripple Effect, Motive, and Criterion called Battlefield Studios) have explicitly stated that they prioritised maximising the performance of the game instead of flashy features like ray tracing. A very refreshing take, because as cool and important as features like ray tracing are, we’ve had way too many botched releases lately with shoddy performance on PC.
I’ll be interested to see how the launch of this game goes.
